Vintage Pinks for Chelsea
Why we love Chelsea
Chelsea runs from 14th Street up to roughly 30th, and from Sixth Avenue west to the Hudson. It holds a lovely historic district of townhouses, tenement buildings and houses of worship — a reminder of the neighborhood's much quieter beginnings.
It has since become the center of the art world. Its density of galleries is unmatched in the city, and the Whitney Museum anchors the southern end of the High Line, the elevated walkway built on former rail tracks. The result is a neighborhood where art, architecture and river air sit on top of one another.
Chelsea is also home to several event venues where Élan has created flowers for fashion shows, product launches and weddings. Hudson Mercantile is one of our favorites, and our work has graced Pier Sixty and The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers as well.
Élan Flowers is the premier florist for luxury floral arrangements, floral subscriptions and event flowers in lower Manhattan, including Chelsea. Our downtown location allows us to provide same-day delivery and excellent service for the discerning floral client.

Sending Flowers to a Chelsea Hotel, Office or Business
New York deliveries often require more information than a street address.
For hotel deliveries, please provide the guest's full name, telephone number and any available reservation information.
For office, showroom or retail deliveries, include the business name and recipient's telephone number. Some buildings will not accept perishable deliveries, so we may need to call the recipient or a representative to meet the delivery in the lobby.
For residential deliveries, please provide an apartment number and any relevant doorman, concierge or building-access information. Gallery deliveries are best timed around opening hours, so tell us when the space will be staffed.
Complete delivery information helps us get your flowers where they need to go.
Frequently Asked Questions
Delivery & Pickup
Do you offer same-day flower delivery in Chelsea?
Yes. We deliver same day throughout Chelsea and Manhattan for all orders received before 12 PM.
What is your general delivery policy?
We require that someone be available to receive all of our flower deliveries, and a working local phone number for every delivery.
How will my flowers be delivered?
To treat our work with the utmost care, all of our arrangements are hand-delivered.
How will the delivery be presented?
Our arrangements are elegantly gift wrapped — the blooms nestled in tissue, protected with cellophane and tied with our signature black satin ribbon.
Will you let me know when the flowers are delivered?
Yes. We send a delivery confirmation with a photo of the finished arrangement attached.
Can I request a delivery time?
We cannot guarantee a specific time, but we do offer delivery windows, and you can choose one at checkout. For particular requests, call us at (212) 240-9033.
What happens with deliveries to a business?
We require a phone number for the recipient, as some buildings will not accept perishable deliveries and we may need to call the recipient or a representative to come to the lobby. We cannot take responsibility if the recipient is away from the office or out of town; if the flowers cannot be accepted for those reasons, a new order will need to be placed for another time.
What happens with deliveries to a residence?
If there is no doorman, we contact the recipient to arrange a two-hour window when someone can be home. If no one is there when the delivery arrives, the sender is responsible for a return fee and a re-delivery fee before we attempt another delivery.
Do you deliver to hospitals and universities?
Yes. We ask for a room number and a phone number for the recipient so we can reach them or their representative directly if needed.
Can I pick up an arrangement instead?
Of course. You are welcome to collect your order from our Tribeca studio — simply choose Pick Up in the delivery section at checkout.
What are your hours?
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM.
How do I get to your studio?
Our studio is at 1 Worth Street in Tribeca.
Ordering & Payment
What forms of payment do you accept?
All major credit cards, including American Express.
How long can my gift message be?
There is no limit, though we encourage brevity — let the flowers speak for themselves.
Our Guarantee
What is your return and refund policy?
As flowers are perishable, all sales are final. That said, we take great pride in the integrity and quality of our work, and we want you to enjoy our arrangements as much as we do. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with what you received, contact us within 24 hours so we have the opportunity to put it right.
Caring for Your Flowers
How do I care for my arrangement?
Add fresh water daily. Keep the arrangement out of direct sunlight, at a cool room temperature between 65 and 72 degrees, and away from heating or cooling vents, drafts and appliances that give off heat.
How do I care for an orchid plant?
Place three ice cubes at the base of the plant once weekly, avoiding direct contact with the leaves — twice weekly if the room is dry. Yellowing leaves are rarely cause for alarm; an orchid will occasionally drop a leaf to make room for a new one. Mushy roots indicate over-watering. Orchids bloom for up to three weeks after purchase, after which the blooms fall and the flower stem turns brown. The plant is simply resting, and with continued care will be ready to bloom again in roughly a year.
