Élan Flowers expands it's retail and vintage offerings.
Since moving into our Tribeca home we have been slowly expanding, not just our floral offerings, but our retail collection of gift items and hand-picked treasures that add to the allure of our luxury flower brand.
It started with some vintage shopping in Stockholm Sweden, when Christine and her daughter discovered the charming vintage shops around town. They are lovingly organized by color and offer an irresistible shopping experience. Christine was drawn to a pair of copper bud vases at one shop and somehow she went home from her trip with 9 vases bud vases from hitting about 6 shops around town. That was clearly too many bud vases for one small Manhattan apartment so all but one ended up for sale on the shelves of Élan Flowers. It turns out that customers were delighted and it started a trend.
Since that time our occasional interest in "brocante" or vintage shopping has developed into a full on passion project. We have embraced vintage flowers vases and orchid planters, brass and silver candle holders, as well as unique finds and curiosities. Some of my personal favorites include this victorian iron bench with brocade cushion (pictured below) as well a Parisian hotel bell and a Victorian dinner gong.
