On the evening of Thursday, September 26th, seventeen flower friends came together to join us at our home location in the heart of Tribecca for our Fall Floral Design workshop.
As guests trickled into the studio on the slightly chilly evening they were greeted with an artisanal selection of wine, charcuterie, and cheeses from local vendors such as Murray's Cheese.
This celebration of fall was led by two of our expert florists, Chelsea and Nicole. Guests were guided through a lesson in design techniques by making both short and tall arrangements, as well as an elegant napkin treatment. The blooms were arranged following recipes crafted by our Lead Designer Yuko which included vibrant orange dahlias, Carpe Diem roses, butterfly ranunculus, foxtail, and green helleborus.
With the soft melodies of bossa nova playing in the background, guests lovingly crafted their arrangements, taking the time to select each individual flower that went into their curated spread. Every bloom chosen felt like an expression of creativity, making the atmosphere as vibrant as the flowers themselves.
Our founders Christine and Patrick, alongside Wendy, our retail manager extraordinaire were present at the workshop, providing support that ensured each participant left with a beautifully crafted arrangement that showcased their personal touch.
As the evening came to a close, our silver tables were brimming with gorgeously arranged blooms of warm orange and pink hues. Every creation was carefully gift-wrapped, nestled in Élan’s signature wrapping paper, and tied with our signature black satin bows.
It was a wonderful evening filled with warmth, creativity, and most of all kindness, making us beyond excited to welcome more flower enthusiasts this winter for our upcoming Winter Design Workshop.
