Yuko originally studied to be schoolteacher; fortunately for us she changed her plan. Élan’s lead designer creates original arrangements for clients, all the enticing displays in our windows, and the “recipes” for most of the signature arrangements featured on our website. She collaborates with Patrick on large events and applies her teaching skills while training and supervising two designers.
The Japanese native moved to New York in 1999, after training for several years in a Tokyo flower shop. She has collaborated with premiere flower shops throughout NYC. Constantly inspired by nature, Yuko loves every aspect of her job, especially shopping in the flower district.
